I don't think disagreement necessarily equals "attack".
Neither do I. Neither do a preponderance of us. Unfortunately, there are those to whom a disagreement - or even presentation of a contradictory (real or apparent) fact - equals a personal assault. And it is only too easy for folk like you and I to get into it with them before we realise we have been a) stooped to their level, or b) letting our own smarts take a catnap.
As said Frank Chodorov, so say I, wishing only that I lived up to it more consistently: Let them rant their heads off - that is their right, which we cannot afford to infringe - but let us keep from them the political means of depriving everybody else of the same right.

That's so true..
But what annoys me is that they aren't merely whining and complaining.. I can handle that.
It always comes around to them wanting someone else to modify their behavior because it hurts their feelings.
Of course, they have no such regard for anyone else. Their hypersensitive feelings are all that matter to them.
I guess you could compare it to the gays. A small but very vocal group that runs purely on emotion and promotes their liberties above yours, mine or those of anyone with whom they disagree.
