I believe you said that you married a good man who does not do these things. Presumably you married a reasonable person, and you have been reasonable yourself, and the two of you have worked it out.

Why isn't that the answer? If you want a reasonable marriage, marry a reasonable person. A solution worked out amongst ourselves, without turning this into a men against women battle of the hosehold chores?
