This state has prosecuted for Fornication and Sodomy. In fact The last Sodomy conviction here, (I think it was a year or two ago) landed the guy in prison for 3 years.

These laws have been upheld as Constitutional by the State Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court, so there is not much hope for you if you get convicted. It won't be overturned on a Constitutional Issue.

Glad to hear your backwater town has no real crime. So, do you regularly try and bust adults for screwing, or is that just in your fantasies?

BTW, my last post of the night. I am off to fornicate.

Are you for Abortion? Homosexuality? Fornication? Adultery? Blasphemy? Drug Use? Prostitution?

The Libertarian Party platform calls for:

"the repeal of all laws regarding consensual sexual relations, including prostitution and solicitation, and the cessation of state oppression and harassment of homosexual men and women, that they, at last, be accorded their full rights as individuals;"

"the repeal of all laws regulating or prohibiting the possession, use, sale, production, or distribution of sexually explicit material, independent of "socially redeeming value" or compliance with "community standards";"

"the repeal of all laws restricting or prohibiting the use or sale of alcohol, requiring health warning labels and signs, making bartenders or hosts responsible for the behavior of customers and guests, making liquor companies liable for birth defects, and making gambling houses liable for the losses of intoxicated gamblers;"

"the repeal of all laws prohibiting the production, sale, possession, or use of drugs, and of all medicinal prescription requirements for the purchase of vitamins, drugs, and similar substances;"

"the repeal of all laws regulating or prohibiting gambling;"

The libertarian party platform echo's the failed ERA amendment that the femi-nazis were pushing for in the 70's and 80's

"We hold that individual rights should not be denied or abridged on the basis of sex. We call for repeal of all laws discriminating against women, such as protective labor laws and marriage or divorce laws which deny the full rights of men and women. We oppose all laws likely to impose restrictions on free choice and private property or to widen tyranny through reverse discrimination. "

On Abortion the Libertarian party platform allows the murder of innocent unborn Children.

"Recognizing that abortion is a very sensitive issue and that people, including libertarians, can hold good-faith views on both sides, we believe the government should be kept out of the question. "

VA Advogado can you see the similarities in this platform with the liberal agenda of the democrats???

I wonder why the libertarians don't see it. :)

I specifically said that "No Knock" raids should be the exeception Not the rule, that they should be used only for protecting innocent life, and that they should never be used only for protecting evidence that is to be seized.

I also said that anyone who lies on a warrant application and gets a warrant that they know has no basis is no better than the criminal that they are trying to arrest.

The ends does not justify the means.

Ethics is first and foremost.

All LEO's should remember this:

As a law enforcement officer, my fundamental duty is to serve the community, to safeguard lives and property, to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression and intimidation and the peaceful against violence or disorder and to respect the constitutional rights of all to liberty, equality and justice.

I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all, and I will behave in a manner that does not bring discredit to me or my agency. I will maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn or ridicule, develop self restrant and be constantly mindful of the welfare of others. Honest in thought and deed both in personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the law and the regulations of my department. Whatever I see or hear that is confided to me in my official capacity will be keep ever secret unless revelation becomes necessary in the performance of my duty.

I will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, political beliefs, aspirations, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions. With no Compromise for crime and with a relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law courteously and appropriatly without fear or favor, malice or ill will, never employing unnecessary for or violence, and never accepting gratuties.

I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith and I accept it as a Public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of police service. I will never engage in acts of corruption or bribery, nor will I condone such acts by other police officers. I will cooperate fully with all legally authorized agencies in the pursuit of justice.

I will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God to my Chosen Profession, Law Enforcement.

do you support EVERYTHING the republican party does or every plank of their platform?

as to your question, i don't personally advocate any of the things that you asked, but neither do i think that the government should be legislating them.

I take it back. Yikes, yes, the level of discussion on this thread has degraded to junior high level & even way below. It's SAD. But just because there are a bunch of ignorant & immature 6th grade idiots posting here now does not mean we should give up on FR.We just need to GET THESE CHILDREN out of here. Somehow. How? I don't know. Call their parents maybe?

So you don't think there should be a law protecting unborn innocent children from murder by their mothers?

Probable cause would have to be established, and a warrant would have to be obtained. It is that simple, there is a process that must be followed.

The ends never justifies the means.

Thanks for the compliments. Sometimes threads like these can be good places to find out where weve been and where were going. In a few rare cases though, they do tend to attract the disgruntled and those who want to hijack a thread for their own personal soapbox. You just have to take it all with a bit of skepticism. Learn from the good advice, chuck the bad.

I think I have proved my point. In any revolution, political or otherwise the fringes, which we are not, control the agenda.

The problem that I have with Conservitives and even more so with Libertines is that we don't stay the course, In my own home State I could have a protest a week over issues that effect everyone, government theft, mismanagement, and general Rat stupidity, noone wants to do a thing, what am I to do? To be a FReeper is to be disappointed and then do it the next day.
