I saw a great interview with Art a couple of years ago, and he told a very sweet story of how a special taping of his show was done and unbeknownst to him, about 2000 grown people were assembled to celebrate Art and his work, and they were oncce all the kids that appeared on his shows from 40 yrs previously, and they brought their own families with them to meet Art. At first, he had no idea what was going on, and then old clips of the kids began appearing, and then an adult would stand up and introduce himself.

Of course, Art just feel apart, as a normal decent person would, and the place just went nuts for the man.

Did you know that he was a speaker at this yrs CPAC Conference in DC??

Thats a wonderful story about Mr. Linklatter...he was such a kind decent man, and really brought a lot of joy, into peoples lives with those interviews with the little children...That must have been something to see the little kids, all grown up...
