Palo, I never heard of that plant, but then I am not really knowledgeable about desert plants...poor little Lulu...got her tootsies, stuck with thorns...glad you were able to get them out for her to be able to walk again....

I just had this picture of our Palo, trying to lug Lulu home, slung over her shoulder, and now having one shoulder permanently lower than the other...

the scorpion plant grows along ground like ground cover
it is weed no one likes cause it makes zillions of goatheads
if westy were here, I'd ask him if it is in Baja too
it is a desert plant
