Now thats a wonderful picture of Mt. Rainier...I just watched a program the other night, about the beginnings of Mt. Rainier Natl Park...it was very interesting...

I especially liked when they showed all the old photos of the Health Spa that used to be at Longmire....I took care of a very old lady in the nursing home....she was 105 when I took care of her...her parents are the ones who started the Longmire Health Resort up at Mt. Rainier...

She was married so her last name was no longer Longmire...but, even at the age of 105, her mind was still sound, she was quick to mention, that she was a 'Longmire'...and this was verified, by a newspaper article, that hangs up in the nursing home, all about her, and her adventures coming to Washington State as a small child, and how her family was so influential up at Mt. Rainier...

We are hoping to get up to Mt. Rainier this summer to go camping, and to be able to get over to Sunrise Visitor center, now that it is finally summer, and the road to Sunrise should be cleared of all the snow...
