hi loddy
I am embarrassed to say this but was Dennis a new yorker
many many new yorkers are good at fixing things
but some, who spent their whole life in apartment where the landlord always fixed it
are not handy
if Dennis had always lived in nyc before he moved to LA
it could explain part of the problem
Love, Palo
have you ever seen ''The Honeymooners'' with Jackie Gleason and Art Carney
those stories are based on the real people who lived in apartment building where Jackie Gleason grew up

I expect you're correct about the dearly departed.
Loved the Honeymooner's! Classic comedy at its finest.
Someone's always needing to call the Super.
It's really sad when folks are too lazy or dense
to figger stuff out for themselves. We have now
grown several generations of folks who look to
governments for their total existence - and it
is existence, not really living just existing.

Sorry, haven't been on in.. oh.. two or more days. In answer to your last question to me on Thread 15.. New York has had less than average rainfall for the past several years, and has had higher than average temps. So we get slammed with a wetter than normal spring and early summer with th threat of flooding in places if we get more rain...
..And the EPA idiots are saying that we're still in a drought. (These are the same clowns that said there are no Coyotes in New York...)
