they seem to expect to be loved
when Lulu comes for pets
Happy gets jealous and pushes in middle so he gets the pets
Lulu does not mind
and just kisses Happy

Bassets are gentle and kind...I suppose if someone abuses a basset, they could turn it mean...but I have never known a basset to be mean spirited...they are just sweet, soft, gentle beings...

I am glad that Lulu lets her brother barge in...she is a sweet lady, who just is glad to let her brother get the pets, while she kisses him...
