Westy, are fireworks legal where you live? They are legal down here in Olympia, but I know, in Tacoma, you cannot set off fireworks within the city limits...

Already today, the kids have been setting off the fireworks...the fireworks stands are open, and crowded already....

Perhaps its a good thing we had all that rain on Friday, as things wont be quite as dry as they could have been...perhaps less of a fire hazard...

I dont mind the fire works at all, the legal ones anyway...but there are always those who go down to the reservation, and buy those 1/4 and 1/2 sticks of dynamite, and when they set those things off, boy, the whole dang house rocks and the windows shake....I hate those things, and wish they would not sell them on the reservation...but they do, because they bring in a lot of money....
