thank you habs
has the market settled down any?
I didn't have time to read the news when I was on thon
and when I got off thon my puter was dizzy for while
so I lost the rhythm of news
Love, Palo
I used to work on wall street
the newspaper I worked for was called The Wall Street Transcript
I don't know if it is still going
I was secretary (and proofreader! lol) there
The editor and owner used to do a roundtable each week with people like you
who would talk about how they see the market doing and what will happen

Nope, the markets aren't settled down, but , hey, that's what it is like in a bear market. The news get magnified in such an atmosphere of pessimism, but to sell off, people have to begin to fear and doubt that life will never return to normal again.EVER.
It's maybe about the only common denominator in all the bear markets I've been in , and that is the "atmosphere" about them.Only when there's no one left to sell will it be over, and right now, I'm not sure about all the weak holders of stock having sold off.Lots of people still ride it all the way down, hoping against hope that things will turn in their stock, etc...and then sell at the bottom when they have finally given up.
I bet i could turn someone into a good trader/investor if ALL they had was a keen grasp of human nature and could understand psychology, plus be willing to work hard at honing that skill.
