Over 120 Afghans in a wedding party
killed by B-52 raid.
The celebrants were firing in the air as usual and a drone thought it was under fire and called in a B-52 strike.
I think this qualifies for a Darwin Award. Firing in the air to celebrate while a war is going on and combat aircraft are overhead.

Firing in the air to celebrate while a war is going on and combat aircraft are overhead. Didnt this also happen a few months ago? I guess word of mouth is pretty slow around there. They need to learn to throw rice at weddings, not hot lead!

We have been carrying out air and ground attacks in Afghanistan for the past 10 months. By this time, you'd expect even the most oppressed and backward Afghani would have figured out that we take being shot at very serious.
