Yes, it was in favor of school choice. Parents shouldn't have to support or pay to send their children to schools they do not believe in and/or teachers who are not educating them.

What if you never had a child but you do own your house and you pay school taxes for other people's kids?

Lots of families in Mineral Wells have lots of kids. But they rent, so they don't pay school taxes.

The kids get free breakfast and free lunch.

That is OK. I don't want the kids to starve.

But most of the kids won't eat the cereal and milk or the sausage and biscuit they are offered and it is thrown away.
