Hello everyone. For starters..thanks everyone for the links on vet medicine. We no longer have a bookstore in town so I have to go up to San Luis or Santa Maria to hope to find any books like the ones mentioned.

Nacho still does not quite seem like himself. We have been gone for up to 3 weeks before and his behaviour has not been like this. Usually he has his nose in everyone's supper dish. Now he just sort of nibbles and I can't seem to find anything that suits him...His wt was down a pound and a quarter within the last 3 weeks but the vet did not seem worried about that since he needs to drop4 more pounds. I thought it was due to his having more dry foods and the reduced calorie food that I got him. But I think the " sitters" were lazy and free fed him along with his brother. I hate it when they don't do things as you ask them to do. so now I am not quite sure why Nacho's wt is down a little. Lord, I just don't need another big vet bill after Yummie last fall and Missie last Feb.....Three weeks ago he was his usual perky self, into things, wanting to go out with us in the yard, bugging the other kitties. Now he is just really quiet, nibbles a little and wants to be where I am. I think there may be something really wrong with him and the eye thing is part of it. I am worried I may lose him. Sorry I am not much fun right now..Ozzie does not get really wrapped up in the animals like I do and folks who don't have pets don't get it.
