As the crow flies, Belle Meade is only about 50 miles from Carthage, in reality it is light years away. Belle Meade is an old money, established enclave located within the city limits of Nashville. The Belle Meade Police Dept has been known to run errands for residents during peak party seasons and more often than not becomes a taxi service for misbehaving teens on weekends. Hum. Nice friend, huh? Strobe Talbot is a very smart man who has been enamored with Russia since his days at Oxford. I think he is also a duplicitous, communist, snake in the grass and it wouldn't suprise me in the least if he were a spy.
