Speaking of all the liberal tv news..wanna hear something really bad? In our area we must have the worst sunspots going. All I get on any of my a m radio stations is static! And the radio station that carried Rush and Dr. Laura had those shows pulled on them by the outfit that owns the rights to have them broadcast. This outfit wants those shows broadcast only on their radio stations. Trouble here is that their own stations have WEAK signals and now I can't pick them up at all. There are a lot of unhappy people around these parts now. And I suspect the likes of Lois Capps ( democrat congresswoman for this area) is happier than a fat rat in a cheese factory over this one.

So what you just called "a shameful and cowardly act" was really just a little game of beanbag to make the party Nazis smile? Eisenhower had his faults--but less than most men--and I do not believe that he participated in "shameful and cowardly acts." And to say that inserting "Under God" in our pledge was shameful and cowardly is still nonsense.

Me too. Which is why I judge to be breathtakingly condescending models of intolerance the misguided physician who brought this lawsuit and the swell headed judges who rather stupidly placed themselves above all law and common sense in agreeing with him.

I had to have a new moden installed, updated my sound driver and added memory. It still isn't right but I'm online for the moment. :)

Moderate wings have elected everyone

Totally disagree. Independents are swayed by the power of solid argument whether it be for new programs or for reform. Moderates do not have such arguments. Those on the wings who do believe in their causes nominate all candidates, raise and provide the funds for all campaigns and provide the issues that succeed or fail with the independents who hold the balance of power.

I repeat. Moderates never elected anybody to anything.

We had thunder all day, but no storms. Supposed to rain all day tommorow. What a change from Raleigh, we get rain every couple of days!
