Good morning all...slow going this morning on the thread...well with warmer weather, and vacations and folks being out of doors more, I guess that is to be expected...
I just went to the grocery store(ugh), but consoled myself, by buying what they call 'firecracker' mums...actually its a big white mum plant, with lots of the open blossoms sprayed with a probably some sort of harmless food dye...many of the blossoms are sprayed blue, and some are sprayed red, and some are left just white....and all wrapped up in fancy paper, with flags on it...a July 4th plant to be sure...
I need to go and start cooking the hubbys dinner now, as he will be getting up in a few hours...
Its going to be a beautiful day here today, sunny and will go up to 81 degrees...everyones roses are in full bloom, so its beautful now...so many different colors, dotting the yards, makes everything just look so nice...
Well, so long for a little while, will be back when time allows...

hi andysmom
I love chrysanthemums
I once babysat someone's chrysanthemum plant when she went on vacation
I was surprised how pretty it was
the ones I buy in store don't outlast their flowers
but the one I babysat put out all new baby leaves
the leaves are exquisite
Love, Palo
