It was the special effects that I was refering too, I didn't even think about the writing. You're right thought, the writing would need a major overhall and they would have to find good actors, but they are rather hard to find today. They would probably end up getting Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. What a treat.

James Woods was (is) a good actor, but pairing him with Deborah Harry wasn't exactly the brightest casting - to the extent that she could act (put it this way: as an actress, she was a hell of a singer), hers wasn't exactly a style or a sensibility that could have knitted well with his.
