Where's "Breakin'"? or "Breakin' 2"? LOL! That's what I was thinking! At least they caught "Cool As Ice." What a piece of MST3K sh!t that "film" was...

"Warriors...Come Out And Play-ay!"Is that the one where the guy puts those bottle on his fingers. That's an old one.
EYES WIDE SHUT, Tom Cruz and Nicole Kidman. The WORST I've ever seen!

"Manos" The Hands of FateOh dear GOD! LOL! I'm forever scarred by that movie as are Joel Hodgson, Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and everyone else who ever laid eyes on it! Get ready for this: I actually witnessed an online discussion saying that "Manos" was actually a good movie, and that MST3K had edited certain "good" scenes. Yeah, right!
In addition to that "nugget" of film, I also submit the MST3K classics "Skydivers" and "Hobgoblins." Those two may actually beat "Manos" in crappiness.

You are NOT a guy, whatever your sex. You are right, I am not a guy!... So what gave me away? - Was it Steel Magnolias?

Jaws III - This fish story was a turkey.Come on, now, if you mention "Jaws III," you HAVE to mention "Jaws IV: The Revenge." LOL! "This time it's personal" the movie's tagline screeched. Riiiight. "Austin Powers'" ill-tempered mutant sea bass was more terrifying...
May I also submit before the FReeper committee "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace." Superman decides on his own due to a little boy's prodding to invade every nuclear-armed country and disarm them, presumably against their will, but no one ever says anything to him. Then throw in Gene Hackman in one of his worst-written and acted performances EVER and some mush-brained "supervillain" who is afraid of the dark or something...pure cinematic vomit. Oh, and there's a semi-evil rich, white guy as well.
To: Jagdgewehr
The Quick And The Dead Call me crazy, but I actually kinda liked that flick. Maybe it was Russell Crowe, maybe it was Hackman as an evil guy, maybe it was the fact that BOTH Gary Sinise AND Leonardo DiCaprio are killed in it! That'll teach you to muddle your way through "The Stand," Gary...

STOP IT! You know as a true-born Southerner I can't resist a "Magnolia" batting her eyelashes!
*RRRRRRRowf!*

I didn't care for The Quick and the Dead, but I generally like anything with Gene Hackman in it.
I attribute my nausea to the performance of Sharon Stone in that movie.
However, the other points you mention are the positive aspects of the movie.

I think if Videodrome was made today, it would have been okay. It was made 20 years too soon.

Awwww...do I have to? *smirk*
Another cinematic turkey: Dick Tracy.

I don't know that you're either wrong or right, necessarily. But when I think a little on it, I would have to say that even today Videodrome as made in 1982 would still have turned out a turkey. Ahead of the time or along with the time, bad writing and bad casting will not redeem a film no matter how sound the premise - and Videodrome had a remarkably prescient premise.

That's the one that, I believe, sunk quickly out of sight as soon as it was released, and took an entire studio with it, wasn't it?
You're thinking, I think, of Heaven's Gate, which almost buried Columbia Pictures. Steven Gaines has written a book about it, the title escapes me and I've not had the chance to read it, but I'm told it tells a rather amazing story of hubris the sort which was, at the time, unprecedented even in Hollywood...

Another cinematic turkey: Dick Tracy. You mean you didn't enjoy 10 minutes of gunfighting while Dick Tracy stood around in an empty room doing high school physics calculations? It's a classic!

I can watch that watching an occasional rerun of Hawaiian Eye or Surfside 6. And those shows only last half an hour...

I expect that the reason this stinker didn't make the list is that I warned everyone else in the world off from seeing it...
Ironically the website where I got the pic claims that this is New Zealand's best contribution to the Sci Fi genre. If this is true, their other contributions should be considered hazardous waste.

It was the special effects that I was refering too, I didn't even think about the writing. You're right thought, the writing would need a major overhall and they would have to find good actors, but they are rather hard to find today. They would probably end up getting Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. What a treat.

James Woods was (is) a good actor, but pairing him with Deborah Harry wasn't exactly the brightest casting - to the extent that she could act (put it this way: as an actress, she was a hell of a singer), hers wasn't exactly a style or a sensibility that could have knitted well with his.
