Yep, that Violet is some gal...when she goes out, she struts around the neighborhood, all by herself...everyone knows her...she has her little routine of coming over to our house, then she goes down the cul de sac, and comes out the other end...then goes back across the street, and visits down the street...

Eventually she makes her way home...sometimes her people come out and call her, but she never responds...just goes about her visiting, and only comes home when she is good and ready...

And she is so funny when she crosses the street...the speed limit here in our little housing area, is very low, because of all the kids and all, so cars go through here, pretty slow...Violet never watches for cars...she just crosses the street, when the mood strikes her...and she moves very slowly...should a car be coming, Violet never speeds up to get out of the way...actually when a car is coming, Violet usually comes to a dead halt, and stares at the driver, as if to dare him to hit her...

Most people just sit and wait for the Violet confrontation to be over, and Violet usually just gets up, and continues on with her walkie..shes been doing that for almost 10yrs now, and shes never, ever been hit...its surprising to me, because sometimes we get teens speeding through here, and I hardly think they will stop for Violet...

That Violet, shes a trip...
