It's raining and fifty degrees. It is Old Home Day in North Hampton.. The runners are lining up for the race, and the bikers are lining up for theirs.. The Gazebo will have a live band. I guess it won't be postponed, because the road has been cleared of traffic in front of the house. So sad. This spring suks..

I almost passed out from heat on way to swimmin' pool yesterday
I had to put ice cubes down the front of my dress
it might be because of the brightness too
June is so intensely bright
when I started to swim, I realized I was flippin' from the heat
my mind was mashed
finally I remembered all the posts I read on dregs and flakes before I set off for swimmin' pool
and started to laugh at them as I swam
my happiness came back, my spirits went back up, and my mind relaxed
God bless dregs and flakes
