A high school English teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam." Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being there tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury or illness, or death in your immediate family - but that's it, no other excuses whatsoever!"

A smart-a$$ guy in the back of the room raises his "What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?" The entire class does its best to stifle their laughter and snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles sympathetically at the student, shakes her head, and sweetly says, "Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."

Hi Rowd,

Just read your bull story...I've been there before. It always cracks me up when people yammer about how dumb cows are...these folks have never worked with cattle that have spent time on open range. On more than one occassion, the cows have made monkeys out of the cowboys.

Hey Loddy,

Great breakfast pic the other day...I'll be home next week and that picture will be an everyday view at my house. They don't do breakfast down here, in fact, it seems that eggs and bacon, toast and coffee is really an American thing...which is just another reason why it's great to be and American.

In camp at an Argentina construction project I was working on, breakfast was a dry roll and tea...nada mas.
There were enough gringos working on the job in Chile so that they did have eggs every day. Some days, breakfast was a hotdog...bun and all. Very strange.

The hardest thing to get used to down here is how late they eat dinner. The wife and I go out often on Saturday night to dinner, and we usually arrive at the resturant at 8:30ish...we are the only people in the place. By the time we leave at 9:30 or so, a few people are wandering in. It is not unusual to start dinner at 10:00 at night.

Evening guys - the fundraiser is almost there - 82%.
It's hard work staying on the keyboard all day, and tough on the eyes also.

I don't think I could live anywhere that "didn't do breakfast
That's my favorite meal of the day - especially if it's like that pic. bbl

Y'all have a super evening everyone.

Maybe they're not hungry in the morning because they're still full from the night before.

Hey Valerie, Can't stay but a minute, going to a crawfish boil. :) Yum ! BBL. it is too hot to stay there too long, just marking my place. :) Hehehe.

Checked out that thread. A curious tale. It is incredible that with the flight being diverted, the passengers required to disembark and reboard that the flight was only 4 hours late arriving at their destination. Granted, that is very late for a Southwest flight, for some airlines it is practically on time. LOL. If there had been a serious security threat that plane would have been much, much later than 4 hours. The plane would have been isolated in a remote area of the airport and they would have practically taken it apart searching it. The passengers belongings would have been searched as well. It would have taken forever. See ya later.:)
