Jim,

It's your forum so do what you want, but you aren't getting another dime from me until you fire your moderators!

ASH: The disruptor of disruptors.

And his nemesis, Dan Morgan. Their story kind of reminds me of Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in Les Miserables.

If you'll notice, those who do the most snipeing and badmouthing are the ones who never, or at most Very Seldom, post articles. That has been a long term problem. They actually don't contribute to any knowledge increases, only to the Status Quo.

>>It looks like A+Bert's style. Remember the time he posted "Jim Robinson, Go To Hell!" followed an hour later by "Jim Robinson, Go To Heaven!"?<<

I sure do. I only caught the "Go to Heaven" post, though, which was flaky enough on its own. LOL

We find FR wips simple-minded surrogates into submission based upon government dawgs.

Now, I understand.

I followed the usenets for a few years, but the unmoderated groups became all flame and no burger. Loved alt.rec.guns, it was moderated, and all the meat in it was well-cooked, becuase of the excellent moderation that did occur. It helped that the purpose of the forum was very specific and not general like FR, made eliminating the noise easier.

But immoderate moderation can be like the disease MS in a forum -- the forum lives on and on but it's nerves are deadened and muscles atrophied. One famous forum spin-off of ours comes to mind.

Unless they removed Jim's posting priviledges. He does have some pretty far right leanings.

Couple of deetails here; "Write", and isn't it "Opi" not "Opus's"? :-)

are you bashing California?

Face it, California is the home of smog, earthquakes, rotten politics (with 'A New Hope' on the horizon), and Buckeroo!

Jim's policies and the moderator's enforcement of them, is what keeps this site from becoming what so many other sites are, playgrounds for racists, weirdos, anti-Semites, and knuckle-draggers.

I miss ASH!

You can't have Ash without Don Morgan. The two went together in a yin-yang Batman/Joker sort of way.
