My best friends two day old little girl has "strep", I don't know all the detail of what exactly that is, but I believe it's a bacterial virus (that could have been prevented with a prenatal antibiotic). The baby is on an oxygen machine because she cannot breathe on her own. The doctors are going to give the baby another EEG today to check for brainwaves. Most likey there will none. I have not seen or spoken to my best friend, per her request not to see or talk to anyone except her parents. I understand and respect that.
It's times like these we really have to appreciate and love the family and close friends we do have.
Trivial things and petty people just don't matter.
