Oh, I see ... you'd much rather use gutter language and insults ( as you have just proven beyond a shadow of a doubt ) , than have a civil debate. And it was such fun, wasn't it, to trash away at Liberals , that you feel that you should be allowed to do that here too, no matter what the posting rules say, whenever someone doesn't agree with with you.
I suspect that I have been a Conservative far longer than you have been one; so don't attempt to tell me that I'm not one / am being hoodwinked / nor anyother bildge. I've been politically active ALL of my life. I know and understand politics. I'm in " awe " of NO poltician ; not those now living , nor dead. I've known far too many of them personally ... and I mean as family friends, or my current friends , and from many decades working in campaigns. No, I'm NOT talking about just on the local and / or state level, either.
Ufortunately, you have a fairy tale / childish idea about what politics is / should be. No wonder you are the one feeling " betrayed " !
I haven't used gutter language to you. Had I did, you'd know it without a doubt. I don't speak in weasel phrases or mince words. That's the province of poltroons and those of weak and insubstantial arguments. Politics isn't a game since it can either rescue or ruin lives for generations to come, and if it impacts upon me or mine and my country I will protest and object because I pay for it in excessive taxation and possibly even blood. I don't care if your great-great-great grandpa was George Washington or you were born on the 4th of July. Wrong is wrong and stupid policies are stupid policies regardless of who proposes and institutes them even people I trusted enough to vote for. If you don't like political dissent, move to Cuba, don't attempt to turn the United States into Cuba.
