Why did Bush come out for a Palestinian State after 9/11 and reward terrorism? Why is Bush saving Arafat's butt for 8 month or longer? It's against the Bush Doctrine. It doesn't make any sense.

Most of the posters are in their little world and probably don't even vote because they don't like any of the choices.

No amount of logic or arguing will change their minds so stop trying because they thrive on the debate.

The mainstream conservative isn't on the fringe like some of these posters so don't take what they say as the norm.

With all do respect, JimRob and the Moderators have been doing an excellent job keeping this place fairly stable and have indeed banned the most extreme militants that had been on this forum with great success. This post does not further the cause of stability and invites a flame war.

I supported Keyes in the primaries, and still respect him, but am usually supporting Bush in most of these flamewars. I thought the big fight about Rushbots vs Bushbots on Wednesday was silly. The dishonestly named thread tonight, about the fictional greatest expansion of government ever got way over the top. We had posters calling the President a SOB and saying he should sc--w himself, and saying he was a Nazi. Anyone has a right to say this stuff, but they do not have a right to say it on Free Republic. If I wanted to read stuff like that I would read DU.

that I can undrstand. Bush-Bashers are rueful, almost zealous in their bashing. No matter what, he's wrong. That's what I am talking about.

Reminds me of those that say that Bush is God, is never wrong, and is a GENIUS for signing CFR, etc.

I'm still bitter about CFR and the Patriot Act, and I have a long memory.
