The missionaries who were kidnapped a year ago in the Philippines are free now. The man was killed and his wife is in a hospital with a bullet wound in her leg. I am surprised one of them survived. I had a bad feeling that neither Burnham would make it out alive.

I am sorry to hear that the man was killed but I am glad his wife is going to be alright. Sad story. I wish we could make swift work of these terrorist types. Until we do, no decent people in the world will be safe. Is there anything these people fear?

What sad news about Martin Burnham. Their world changed almost overnight and their only crime was being American. I wonder if Mr Burnham's death and Mrs Burnham's injury will receive the same press coverage as Danny Pearl and his wife....
