I have been really busy for the past couple of weeks and missed what happened to Ryan. Your story has me in tears. Children are so innocent and honest. Thanks for sharing it.
Have a prayer request for my dad. It seems as though the graph he has in his 79 yr old arm to receive dialysis was being misused by the nurses at his hospital. They were connecting him up to dialysis by entering into the side, instead of the top, which has resulted in a major infection and blood pooling to his arm. He has been on morphine for two days now while they do a temporary site so he can continue his dialysis. The arm he was using is so damaged, he can no longer use it and will have to go through the process where they put a graph in his right arm, which has smaller veins. All in all they now think damage was done to his heart through all of this. So today he is going through some tests to see how damaged it is. Please pray for healing and strength for him and my poor mom. She is 80 and just at the end of the rope. :(
Thanks in advance.

(((kassie))), prayers for your dad, mom and you, sweetie. I'm with HOB, the incompetence of those nurses really makes me angry. I can only imagine how upset you and your mom must be over it. Disgraceful! But we know that the Lord can and will make this right, now that it's finally been discovered. Please keep us posted as to his condition.
(((Mozie))), dear, keep on keeping on. I was sorry to hear about Duke and offer my condolences to you on his passing. He sounds as if he was such a fine man and his friends and family were greatly enriched by his presence in their lives. May this thing with your mom turn out to be much less serious than supposed and may you and your mom sense the peace and comfort and healing of the Lord's loving arms embracing you both as prayers are lifted on your behalf.

Prayers for your Dad and Mom, I know how you feel, the nurses forgot to put restraints on my Dad one night and he was badly injured in the hospital. He only lived a few weeks after that. I pray that your Dad will recover..

Prayers being said for all of you. It really does seem like Freeper Hospital this week. I just got back from the emergency room. My little guy took a dive into the corner of the coffee table. Fortunately, it's just a couple of stitches in the eyebrow. It could have been so much worse.
Mental note: need new coffee table - preferably round.
