To: Miss Marple
I hope you got to see the piece that Brit Hume did on the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebration. It was breathtaking. The airshow over Buckingham Palace was amazing, and millions of people lining the mall waving flags.

Last night, Masterpiece Theatre aired a show about the lives of Elizabeth (Queen mum) and Bertie. It was well done, and the characterization of "Uncle David" was absolutely evil.

Yes, I did see that bit on the crowds...got home just in time to see it. I also enjoyed Brit and the panel discussing it. Juan is clueless about the royal family and what they mean to Britain. LOL!

He did have a point about why in the heck Ricky Martin was at the concert. Ha!

My personal opinion is that there is a deep need for royalty in the human psyche. In America we take this feeling and invest it in movie stars, sports figures, and some politicians. It is such a deep need that we find an outlet in other ways.

That is my pop psychology lecture for the day. LOL!
