heat is huge here today
have you had triple digits yet?
I woke up bout 3:45 this morn, Lulu was still asleep 'gainst my tush
I was sprised how fast dawn came
it seemed to arrive bout 4AM, but wasn't slow dawn like winter
right after first light, there was lotsa light and birds were chirpin' their heads off
I walked Lulu at 7:30 which is not as hot as 8:30 and not intolerable like 9:30
but still any shade was huge relief
I was able to make it to Swan Park along footpath
but then I wanted to turn around and come home
we met friendly guy walking his two dogs there
It was totally cool and delightful the first two hours after dawn, I felt the sweet air all around me as I posted
