Palo, you sure do have a wide list of things you like to buy...I am glad you enjoy yourself...

Do you buy Lulu and Happy any toys? Or do they play with toys, some dogs dont...

Dizzy and I were playing 'spy' today...he was hiding under his blanket, that hangs off of his favorite chair, and then I fling a mousie on a string at him, and pull it, and he leaps out, and pounces...he thinks he is so big and tough, even tho hes really a lover, and a softie...but he likes to pretend hes a big, brave spy...

I truly hope you know that I was kidding around on our flakey thread. It is absolutely NONE of my business how anyone spends their earned money - none at all! I just want us all to have enough to pay the funeral guy. And no more.

Dizzy grabbed that big mousie on the end of the string, and he was kicking it, and grabbing it, and then started chewing on it...he was really getting wild, and he pulled some of the fur off of the mousie...and then the fur got stuck in his teeth, and he was having a devil of a time getting it out...I finally had to help him, the poor baby...had so pry open his mouth, and yank out the protruding fur...did not want him swallowing it, and then yakking it up later all over the floor...

I remember those rawhide chews...dogs sure love those things...Helga would chew on them, until they got all nasty and slimy, and then she would ignore them...

One year we bought her a great big rawhide, in the shape of a giant bone, big enough for a St. Bernard....it was so big that she really could not chew on it..but she liked to have it next to her...

Of course, I knew you were joking...I am of the philosophy, like you...leaving enough behind to get buried, thats it...

My dad said, many years ago, after my brother had died, that since I was the one to inherit what he and my mom had, he was going to tell me in advance not to expect any money...

He said, he intended to spend it all before he died...he said he would leave me his house, his vehicles, everything in the house, and I could to with it what I wanted....keep it, sell it, give it away, burn it, whatever...

I told him, I hoped he and mom lived long enough to spend all their money....

And our son tells us that same...he wants us to have a good time, enjoy life, and not think about leaving him any money...he says he is fully capable of making his own...(his latest job is paying him $70 an hour, so yes, he is capable of making his own)...

Of course, my mom and dad died before they spent all their money, and I suspect, my hubby and I will leave some behind also...but we are going to have a good time, trying to spend it all before we go...
