Hi Mo
How do yall like it over here in chit chat?
To: sweetliberty
It is an impressive event albeit a time consuming one. I've gone to see several. My parents believed it was an important occasion and not one to be missed if at all possible. So, starting with the day Mother took us to see Nixon, I've seen all of them at least once except for Ford and Clinton. There was never an opportunity for me to see Ford while he was President but I did see him once from a distance at Beaver Creek after he left the White House. There isn't any power on earth that could drag me to see Clinton.

And the only POTUS that I have ever seen in person had to be Clinton! Of course, I was protesting him outside the gates of the local park where he was to speak. But, I did see his carcass as he descended from the bus.

I am not changing policy - just suggesting changes. Margaret's situation is not one that should dictate policy. You can't make good government policy based on anecdotal testimony. You must make simple clear rules based on what is right generally speaking, and leave provisions open for appeals or exceptions in court. Generally speaking, it is RIGHT for fathers to share financial (and other) responsibility in raising their children before the state steps in with support to replace them.
