LAKERS WIN!! Kings choked at the line, and Doug Christie choked period. Too bad for Webber/Bibby though- they have more class in their pinkies than Hack and the other arrogant one who considers himself to be the next Jordan. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! My ten year old daughter can at least draw iron from where Christie shot airballs........Does Kobe Beef always whine like that when he gets called for fouls? How arrogant.........

Kings fan? Look. I'm a Lakers man, and I'll give the Kings respect. They played tough down the stretch. This series didn't need Chick Hearn and Stu Lantz, or Marv Albert and Bill Walton. They needed Dave Johnson yelling "And down the stretch they come!" The Kings busted their butts the last few games. The Lakers busted their butts the last few games. The Kings took the Lakers into overtime, and had a good crack at winning it. The Lakers were just that much better. The Kings are going to be back and they're going to be awesome the next few years, and as long as it's not at the Lakers' expense that's fine with me. As my fellow Jim Rome fans would put it, war good rivalries.

You're full of crap! All the Kings had to do was make their free throws and they would have won. We won again, loser!

What exactly did you win, thug? A matchup with the East Coast thugs? Try rereading post#101. This time concentrate on the words, reading them out loud to make it easier for you to comprehend them. You'll find that I clearly state that the Kings lost the game at the foul line. Your post added nothing, I'm a fan of neither team. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I was responding to post 100, stupid, and your ludricrous conspiracy theories. You are a loser. It's obvious you wanted the Kings.

All kidding aside, I used to live an hour north of Sacramento, and went there often enough for one or another thing (shopping, et. al.), and the only unpleasant thing I ever really found about it was its primary business - the state government. Dismiss that and Sacramento is actually a nice little city, even if it's a little too landlocked for my seaside-loving tastes.

I caught the fourth quarter after a day of baseball watching. I was frankly amazed that the Kings had turned up with such trouble at the line, and that they weren't able to take some of the load off Bibby's shoulders, but that, I think, came to experience. The Lakers had the experience advantage when it came to crunch time. The Kings gave them a grand battle through the series, though, and if anything it actually gives the Lakers a huge advantage going in against the upstart Nets. And don't be surprised if the Kings are back in it next year. They are an excellent basketball team. But they're not the Lakers.

Agree with you on all counts. Sacramento is a nice town, absent the liberal politicians who have taken over. The Kings did themselves proud. The only thing you can fault them on today is that they didn't make the freethrows. That is a sign of inexperience.

I'm sure you are, Diamond. I'm sorry our discourse took such a heated tone, and I take back all the name calling and disrespect I directed your way. And thanks for fighting insurance fraud. I mean it. I'm actually a Celtics fan, and you know how stubborn we can be!

True enough, Duke. Give the Kings and their fans this, they've had a better year than Gray Davis...and they're a lot less irritating.

Darn, G. I would have liked to see the Celtics win that series just for old times' sake. Oh, well, maybe next year.

Apology accepted. Thanks for your support. It can sometimes be a thankless job. Actually, as an attorney I enjoy a good fight. Jackson will now go after your hallowed Auerbach's record for championships and tie him with 9.

Time for me to have a cold one and then hit the rack. Nets certainly won't get in Jackson's way. LOL!
