I hide in the closet to stay out of the sun so I don't wrinkle.
I never watched newsreels at theaters, so I should make that clear.... I watched cartoons (Woody Woodpecker) at the drive-ins before the double feature (usually westerns) started, and ate popcorn from boxes, not tubs, and had to wear pajamas and sit in the back seat with my sisters because my parents were in the front.
