That came out a little harsher than I meant. There's a lot of sympathy for the Levy's in me, but also a sober skepticism that they are able to change and take a lesson from this horror that I'd never wish upon any parent.

"You obviously are not a believer of the Bible. If you claim to be a Christian then you have perverted the true Word of God into some mix-mash of false doctines which leaves you singing in the choir, "Anything Goes." Don't even begin to think that YOU are going to tell someone whether they are a true Christian or not. Who the hell do you think you are? Get over yourself and get real!

BS is right. I imagine the Levy family is wishing they had another chance right now. God bless them. Loosing a child is the worse thing that can happen. I don't know of anything worse. They and all parents like them who have lost children need our prayers.

I think loosing a child qualifies as the ultamate less you think they need. They will never get over the idea that maybe if they had done something else they would still have their daughter. No matter that it would have made no differance at all.

Great job! I can tell by the nasty responses.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Not another one....and what virtue do you have over us sinners?
To: Thinkin' Gal
That is if you can talk on your own without scripture-ese. Or maybe you can't think for yourself.

Poor Jez is dead; the dogs ate her. The bridge is out and most folks in America doesn't know it.

I guess you are both speechless without your bible-thumping scripture spasms.

Hopefully these "Christians" never have to face thier own children behaving less than perfect.

Why did 4goats or 3fish or whatever their name is, post that pic of the Oklahoma bridge when we are discussing the Levy case?

You seem to have some sort of problem. Perhaps you should disconnect so you can clean the froth off of your keyboard. Or do you expect your mother to clean up your messes?

I wouldn't want to even venture to guess! Baaaaaaa!

mancini made a point that Chandra may have repented before her death. Has anyone ever thought about how when people are near death, they report seeing all their life passing before them, even in a matter of seconds, time seems to stop and they relive everything they have done. I have often thought that this is a blessing from G-d because he gives us up to the very last moment to completely repent. Maybe her tragic death was a generational blessing as opposed to someone who took the same sin lightly and suffered few consequences and never repented.
Woe to the churchpeople who have been robbed of their Jewish roots and believe the lie of easy repent-ism!

Hope you two giggling little missies are amusing each other...
Perhaps QVC has bored you, and you're all out of warm beer this evening?

The Chofetz Chaim wrote: So important is repentance that it preceded Creation: "before mountains were brought forth..You were G-d. You ruled over Man, bringing crushing punishment upon him so that he would repent before death, and You would say, 'Return, mankind'"
Tellihim 90:1-11:So great is repentance that even if the sinner was thoroughly evil all his days, yet repents completely near his death, G-d does not remind him of his previous sins: "The former things shall not be remembered, nor come to mind: Yeshayahu 65:17 Furthermore, repentance is greater than bringing offerings: "To obey is better than sacrifice" Shemuel 1 15:22

I know what you're saying.

I think this thread was for condolances to the Levy family on the loss of their daughter. Sorry you missed that.
