Did anyone watch the Miss Universe pageant last night ? Miss Russia won and she is quite beautiful. She is from St Petersburg and at 24 she already has a law degree and is working on a doctoral law thesis on civil law. She is a shooting enthusiast, a member of a championship volleyball team and she made the sign of the cross when she won. A far cry from the image of Russian women depicted in the old Wendy's commercial.

She's very elegant. I wonder if I'm too old to learn how to walk gracefully in high heels? *LOL* I was 5'8" by age 12 and got in the habit of wearing flats for life.

That's OK, Miss Darlin'. Val and I have been kibbitzing about this for awhile, as you can see. When I first saw that photo my "mind" yelled "LEPER!", but it soon settled down. Please don't get yourself zapped by a miscreant bolt of lightning through a cheap computer or anything, OK?

I, too, was 5'8" at age 12 but then I stopped growing and most everyone else caught up. :). As for heels, I've always worn heels and usually fairly high ones.
