What I really want to see if Jar-Jar's death, if they don't kill him in Ep. 3, I hope they edit Ep 4. and put him at ground zero on Alderan.
Everything in I and II seems to mirror things that have happened in the other movies (Anakin and Luke taken from Tatooine by the Jedi and taught the ways of the force, both losing their arms fighting the Sith, Anakin destroys the Trade Federation ship while Luke destroys the Death Star, etc, etc).
Obviously in Episode III Amidala dies (as do scores of others). I predict that the Emperor convinces Anakin that the Jedi are to blame and he goes on a murderous rampage wiping them all out just like w/ the Sand People in Episode I, all save for Mace Windu who gets beheaded by Boba Fett just as Windu did with his father Jengo Fett.
After wiping out the Jedi, Anakin then realizes that the Emperor is Darth Sidious and that he was tricked into his actions. In a scene reminscent of Vader and Luke's battle in Empire, they have a lightsabre duel which will climax with Anakin severing the Emperor's arm to reveal ... a mechanical one (just like Anakin and Luke). At that point the Emperor confesses to Anakin that he is his father (GASP!), yes his father (possibly even a clone of himself implanted in Anakin's mother). And just like in Empire, Sidious will invite Anakin to rule at his side as father and son and Anakin at that point embraces the dark side and the transformation into Darth Vader will be complete, in contrast to the decision made by Luke in Empire.
Episode III will then close with a distant shot of a young Luke Skywalker playing on his uncle's farm on Tatooine. The camera will pan back and we see that we are witnessing the scene through the eyes of Obi Wan Kenobi. And that is how it will end with the thought that there is still this flickering hope for the Republic in the form of this young boy whose fate has been entrusted in the hands of Kenobi.
BEN: I felt a great disturbance in the Force...as if millions of voices suddenly cried out, shouting "HURRAH!" and then were suddenly silenced. I fear something terribly overdue has happened.
