Dark Horzizions (Movie news site) is reporting that Natalie Portman will appear on the 'Return of the Jedi-Star Wars Episode VI' Digital Video Disc.
Music Television apparently re-iterated rumours that Natalie Portman (Senator/Queen Padme Amidala) has signed on to be a part of the new scenes being filmed for 'Episode VI-Return of the Jedi'
She will shoot scenes during the production of Episode III ('Rise of the Empire?-ed.) which will then be re-inserted into the Digital Video Disc release of 'Jedi.'

After all... it is the FINAL scene in the entire film series (since Lucas decided not to do episodes 7-9).Yeah, that's what he said after episode 6 too, but his ego's way too massive to resist the temptation. Just wait until he releases a couple of major bombs after episode 3.

Hmmm... all the blaster fire has damaged my hearing. I could've sworn that line was "...according to my design...". *I concur.*

Unfortunately, I've read a rumor that Jar-Jar is supposed to coordinate the pulling down of Palpatine's statue at the end of super-duper DVD ed. of ROTJ. Well, if that explains Jar-Jar's demise, that's okay with me :)
I do find it interesting that Binks makes the formal Senate motion that begins galactic civil war. Not surprising, mind you, but interesting.

After seeing Star Wars part IV/Episode II in the theaters this week (not to be confused with Star Wars part II/Episode V), I've come to the conclusion that one should just watch the first film (from 1977) and be done with it. And make sure that you get the original version of the first film, none of that "Greedo shot first" pap.
When these 6 films are done, what would be the proper viewing order? Episode I-VI? Then you end with Return of the Jedi (a contender for the worst film of the series and then there are all of those ewoks). Do you watch them IV-VI,I-III?

Next thing you know, he'll be digitally "inserting" Jar Jar Binks into every Star Wars movie. Oh, not just the Star Wars movies:

Or simply 'Fall of The Jedi' you're right-Episode II could have been 'Rise of the Empire' but that title might be a little bit out of range for the kiddies.

Oooo! They could add her to the bar scene in the first film (colorized of course) as an homage to Mel Brooks' Spaceballs.

Obi Wan says that Qui-Gon would never have joined Dooku. Doku's comment: "Don't be so sure about that. Your former master and my former apprentice didn't always agree with the council." But, wouldn't that requre believing that the Count had a shred of honesty?
The dark side loves to lie, you know?

Well, after seeing Princess Leia dressed as a lap dancer in Jabba's lair, I really didn't notice the Ewoks.

Okay... I can see it. Jar-Jar is goaded into chaining that police car's rear axle to the telephone pole. Jar-Jar is in the broadcast booth, lip-synching to the old Wolfman Jack audio track. Jar-Jar is in the Chevy with Harrison Ford during the drag race (or would he be in the Deuce Coupe...?). Oh... the worst yet - Jar-Jar is seen peeking through the white T-Bird's "porthole" window, instead of Suzanne Somers!! The possibilities are endless - and nauseating.

Actually, Lucas ought to let Ronnie Howard direct the next Star Wars. He's still making good movies.
