OH MY!!!! I am so much the same way at work...I have "PILES" of papers everywhere...and my boss is constantly nagging me to "file" things away..but whenever I do, I can no longer find what i need...at least in my piles i know where things are..........Why don't people understand not everyone can be anal retentive?????

I think everyones mind works in different ways...and for some people having piles works better than having things neatly filed away...

One of my cousins teaches at the University of Louisville, in Kentucky...and my aunt says he is the same way as my son...he has piles and piles of stuff everywhere...and that is his system....His wife, tho, is the opposite, and likes everything neat and clean and sparkling

So they have a deal...he wont make a mess in the rest of the house, so long as she does not fiddle with, nor complain about anything is his office at home....And my aunt says, that he just has hills and mountains and stacks of stuff everywhere in his office. And he is happy as can be in there...and his wife never enters, and just closes the door, when company comes to visit...

Doors have a good purpose, they can hide the clutter that drives other people mad...

so she won't accidentally take the same book out of library
she showed her book to Patsy, and told Patsy she carries it with her everywhere
(in case she stops at library or 2nd hand bookstore, she consults it first)
