it is fun
that stuff was around in early part of my childhood
some of it I don't remember tho
we didn't have partyline but our phone number had name in it
I thnk our queens phone number was JAmaica 6-3118
and my grandmother in Washington Heights had a WAdsworth number
they were all names of areas where people lived
it occurs to me now that my lower east side phone number which began 477
might have originally been GRamercy 7
