The falcon cam has pulled back to a wider view. The chicks get out the nest box and mess around on the ledge....long way down for critters who's wings don't work yet.....Oooops Just went back close up....

I was wondering what was going on with the Falcons...earlier today, I was sure I had seen one of the chicks outside of the box, on the ledge...but being as the pic was dark, I thought I was seeing things wrong...

But I guess I was right, as you are seeing the same thing...

Checked on the eagle chicks...my gosh, they are big...

I think its always a scarey time, when the chicks decide its time to try their wings...I am always afraid that they will not be successful on their first try, and will come crashing down...

Lets keep our fingers crossed, that after all the hard work the adult birds have done, feeding and caring for their young, that they will be good flyers when the time comes...
