Acutally I do not..I am lucky if I go in there more than 2X a day...I found out on the day after 9/11 after sitting in my car for 7 hours waiting to get to work that I can go that long w/o having to powder my nose. ;-)

Good evening all, I have finally arrived....kind of hard, getting back into the routine of cooking for two...but vacation for the hubby and me is over, at least until another one comes up in October, and then we both will go down to Northern California, to visit my relatives, and go sightseeing along the Pacific Coast....
Palo, I sure enjoyed your post of last evenings adventures at your homestead, completely in military terms...sure enjoyed it...
On the subject of BLTs...I love em...but I especially love them done in one of two ways...
First, I enjoy a BLT, with the added addtion of some white turkey or chicken breast meat...yum yum...
Now for the second way, which some folks will probably say yuck to...but this was the way my dads mom ate her BLTs and I came to love them(of course this is the same grandmother who enjoys her pancakes with catsup on them)...well anyway here goes...I enjoy a BLT all the more with peanut better and a semi-hard fried egg on the sandwich...
Palo, what is Lulu up to right now?
To: OneidaM
give yourself two weeks of just posting when it is officially your time for yourself
then we'll reconnoiter
lol you go long time without powdering your nose
To: OneidaM
Good job with the BLT! Sucks for the surly offspring. She loses!

*sigh*...you have never made pot roast? It's a snap, cupcake.Brown the roast, wrap in foil with the onion soup mix, place in oven for 2hrs, then braise in the broth and add veggies.Easy, delish and all in one pot.
I went out, came back, made the prep, checked the market, added air to my head, pumped some iron, Freeped...it's not that hard to juggle ;-)

Withhold the rent until the oven is righted. With notice of course, to your auntie. Good grief!
Hell, move to where they have functioning ovens. ;-)

Right on Jimbo!! Pot roast is a work of nature ;-)LOL
Palo, if you use a small piece of meat, you can do it on a stove top, just have it on medium heat, but in a sealed pot.You have to brown it first anyway, so you can leave it on stove top, but that doesn't get really even heat. You may have to cook longer, say 3 hrs, that way :-)
To: habs4ever
I see "things" are stop top hot in your neck of the woods huh?? LOL may Chretien self destruct!!
To: Canadian Outrage
good heavens - make that stove top!!
