[history]
Spring in Anchorage brings piles of dog poop that emerge before the daffodils do, foul shoe bombs that spread disease, attract flies and foul waterways.
This spring, municipal officials say, they'll consider anything and everything to get dog owners to clean up after their pets.

Dreamed I was an Eskimo
Frozen wind began to blow
Under my boots and around my toes
The frost that bit the ground below
It was a hundred degrees below zero...
And my mama cried
And my mama cried
Nanook, a-no-no
Nanook, a-no-no
Don't be a naughty Eskimo
Save your money, don't go to the show
Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh
Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh
Well I turned around and I said "Ho, Ho"
And the northern lights commenced to glow
And she said, with a tear in her eye
"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"
"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"

I vote for rubbing the owners face in their dog's crap. I live in an area of the country that supposedly is one of the highest in education per capita. Yeah, sure. Whatever. The people are inconsiderate buttholes. It's like the whole world revolves around them. My dog's crap don't stink ... so I don't have to cleanup if he craps on your lawn.

oh gross... Yeah it is annoying when people don't pick up after their pets... or just let them out unleashed so they come over in *your* yard to damage the lawn or leave you treasures...

We didn't have any kind of "curb your dog" program in our little West Texas town......and it used to amaze me that someone would be walking down the sidewalk and allow their dog to crap in my yard while my babies were toddling around in that grass!
Our neighborhood in Pennsylvania is full of dogs, on leashes, with owners carrying bags to pick up behind them...... you can't imagine my surprise and delight to see this done!

"On my block, a lot of people walk their dogs and I always see them walking along with their little poop bags. This, to me, is the lowest activity in human life. Following a dog with a little scooper. Waiting for him to go so you can walk down the street with it in your bag. If aliens are watching this through telescopes, they're going to think the dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them's making a poop, the other one's carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge?
I say, if this is where we're at after 50,000 years of civilization, let's just give up. I'm serious, let's pack it in. It's not worth it. Let's just say the human race as an idea didn't quite work. It seemed good at first, we worked on it for a long time, but it just didn't pan out. We went to the Moon but still somehow wound up carrying little bags of dog doody around with us. We just got mixed up somewhere. Let's just give it over to the insects or whoever else is next in line.........."Jerry Seinfeld.... (deja vu?)

That's why I let mine go in our yard and then go for a walk or wherever. Every once in a while I go around the yard picking up. When I'm at my mom's we just let them go in the empty lot, much nicer.

I don't know how to make this story any more twisted than it already is!
