I'm sure this includes us Star Trek/Dr. Who/SF nerds -- I've never been too much of a Star Wars fan -- as well.

Well, let's clear something up. We can be a bit slow on the uptake, but one we get with a woman, we have a tendency to give them a lot of attention. And in-between the Spock-a-Thons and late night chess games, we've taken a peek or 4 at Anais Nin books. Once we get the woman, we know how to thrill them.

Just call me a married SF-Nerd and Kipling fan with a geek-girl wife and two kids,

Q: Hey, guess who's stupid?
A: This author!

I took my girlfriend to see Attack of the Clones yesterday and both she and I completely loved every second of it. Everyone coming out of the theatre was laughing and smiling and talking excitedly about the cinematic marvel we'd all just experienced. I will unreservedly say "Best movie ever".

How many movies has the jerk-off who wrote this "article" made? Oh, none?

Obviously. REAL men are fans of "Star Trek," not "Star Wars."

They wouldn't know what to do with a woman

Is this statement, taken from the article, true? In your expert opinion as a woman?

LOL! Sounds like they rival the Trekkies. Brings to mind the classic SNL Skit with Shatner himself.

"I'd just like to say.... GET A LIFE,... it's was just a TV SHOW.... You, you must be almost 30, have you ever kissed a girl?"

What in the heck is the matter with John Ford movies and Rudyard Kipling?

we've taken a peek or 4 at Anais Nin books.

This Star Wars geek received much of his "education" from Delta of Venus. I've never had any complaints...

A few years ago when Elvis Costello toured Australia, I attended four of his concerts (and no, there's nothing wrong with that at all, thank you very much).

Well there certainly isn't anything wrong with that if you're being paid to see Elvis four times, otherwise I kinda' think there's plenty wrong with that, and I don't know if I'd be so quick to look down my snout at the Star Warriors if I were this guy.

Wrong. Men who love men love Star Trek. Men who ARE men like Star Wars, although we wished the Ewoks would have been wiped out by Imperial Troops.

As big a fan as I am of Star Wars, there is another piece of celluloid that I like even more. Yes, I have seen Taxi Driver about 200 times.

This style of debate never made any sense to me. It basically allows people to criticize themselves and people who have the same job.

Have you ever criticized Bill Clinton? Have you ever been president?

I’ve never been an NFL quarterback, so do have to stop yelling at my television in the fall?

I'd much rather enjoy the cool effects and action sequences of Starwars, and share a bed with Mrs. Deaddog than get off on "grown up" movies like Yental, The English Patient, The Crying Game, Crossing Delancy(?), Sliver, or whatever Fag Tripe these so called men who "know what to do with women" watch.

Now, now. Let's stop fighting among ourselves. There are more than enough geek-girls for all of us to thrill.

Isn't 'Tons of sentence fragments.' a sentence fragment?

Wow, this author has picked up a new stereotype. 'Star Wars' fans are nerd-boys who can't get a date! How original! I can't wait until next week, when he parodies PETA activists as dope-smoking hippies. Or the week after, when he portrays Republicans as a bunch of country-clubbing WASPs. This guy really has his finger on the pulse of modern pop culture, itellyouwhat.

You forgot to add Chocolat to your list of "Fag Tripe."
