Strobe (what a ridiculous name!) was not critical of Bush today -- but I don't trust him. He's up to something besides just selling books. I think he's been involved in a lot of dirty deals in Russia and does not want to be found out or investigated by this administration, so he is gonna schmooooze.
He blamed the lack of cooperation between Clinton and Putin on Putin's patience to wait for a new administration rather than get entangled in agreements with a lame duck prez, but there's more to it than that - and Strobe is deeply involved. Putin had damn good reason not to trust him or the rest of the Clinton gang.

Absolutely. Putin may be a political novice but he isn't a fool and don't he was a KGB colonel. No doubt he still has a copy of what must be a thick file on Talbot. Talbot is a snake in the grass, he is not to be trusted. I have long believed Talbot was a spy from his days at Oxford, a high level, well placed traitor.

Putin had damn good reason not to trust him or the rest of the Clinton gang. That fact that Putin didn't trust the Clinton Gang speaks volumes
