Besides, Heaven is smiling on me. My old computer is working -- the sound is playing a Bocelli CD right now and I have made a second CD of image data successfully. These things haven't worked for months. My computer found 2 bad sectors on the CD drive and re-routed them (or whatever) and then I defragged - it took 8 hours for the 8 GB C drive. (my 30 gb harddrive is partitioned) It didn't find the bad sectors or defrag this effectively in previous scans.
