No one said anything about ..."keep allowing these people in"... I'm just not sure that forsaking everything this country has ever stood for is the answer.

Darlin' we have always set some of our liberties aside in time of declared war in order to fight efficiently. We have always take those rights back from the government when the war was over.

This is a war. We need to declare it and do whatever it takes to win it.

I never suggested that we should should forsake ANYTHING this country has stood for. On the contrary. I am simply saying that desperate times call for despeate measures. If terrorists continue to have easy access to us to do their evil deeds, the statue of liberty will not be worth the land she stands on. It's simply a matter of priorities and protecting ourselves and our own....not THEIR's. Immigration is completely out of control anyway. Resources need to be directed to that problem, especially as it pertains to national security. The president has already declared those countries who sponsor terrorism to be enemies of America, and yet we continue pandering to them and making excuses why we can't get rid of the ones that are here and why we continue to let them in. There is no justifiable reason whatsoever to have ANY person in this country under a student VISA who is a citizen of ANY country that has been determined to be a sponsor of terrorism.

I am not suggesting that ALL immigration be stopped, but if it isn't brought under control it will be Americans that are looking for a new country,
