drugs and arms trafficking are tied together intricately internationally

Gee Val, how much time did you spend in the international Arms business? I spent 5 years, all over the World.

Your sources need new tin foil in their hats.

While political movements will deal drugs to get money for guns, that is not at all the same thing as drug dealers being in the arms business, or arms dealers being in the drug business. Both are strictly cash businesses, no barter.

The two groups are like cats and dogs, they don't mix and they don't trust each other.
