That kind of corruption on that large of a scale supports a HUGE international crime network.... Drugs and arms.

It was a financial scam, and that is organized crime.
I have been in that end of the arms business and it is a different group of people. That is not to say honest or ethical, but they are very very different groups.

Just because people are doing bad things does not mean they are in a giagantic conspiracy together, or even like each other any more than they like us. There are not just two sides. There is us, and then there are thousands of independant other sides that want different things.

The KLA were part of the network that ran drugs (heroin) all the way from poppy fields in Afghanistan, to processing in Turkey, to the streets of Europe, for money for arms for Islamic militants in the Balkans and Chechnya and the ".....stans" and the middle east.... drugs and arms trafficking are tied together intricately internationally.
