The Jensens are good friends, I worked with Stan on several construction projects. Didn't realize they sold out...knew they were raising goats and leasing them to ranchers and the BLM for weed control. Are they still in Salmon?
To: sweetliberty
Er, sweet.....there sure be a lot of difference between Andulasians and Quarter Horses....I just can't quite picture a cutting horse (the real ones, not our friend here, of course) wearing his/her mane in braids, with ribbons or flowers intertwined!!! Somehow, I just think those Quarters would be embarassed!

Hi Loddy,
Don't know basa fish.
To: yall
Whoops, got to run...the parade is heading down to camp. SYL, I now have the net in my little room at camp.
To: Cuttnhorse
Oh yeah, they are staying....part of the deal for the house was that the log home builder provide a log shell for the new home they will have out near the airport....out where they have their cattle.
The little 'weed patrol' is quite a hoot, let me tell ya!!! The damn goats can get thru the eye of a needle!!! But they love weeds---and they love willows and scrubbrush along creeks and river bottoms--many, they can do a number to help with landclearing.
Canadian Thistle they attack when it blooms--usually the stage when a producer is having fits--they actually peel the stock and stress the thistle badly. The next year it is stunted in growth and they repeat the same deal; the 3rd year seems to be the killer....the thistle doesn't grow very high and when it tries to bloom, the goats finish it off.
A number of weed districts in Montana brought truckloads of Angora and spanish goats in from Texas....they were ok with the weeds but didn't have a plan for excess animals or the mohair as it regars Angoras...and predation is terrible--unless you plan ahead.

;-) I guess you've not mined in VietNam. Check this out:
``American consumers do not reasonably expect food products that are not in the same family or species to be labeled alike,'' says Johnson. ``The import and sale of Vietnamese basa labeled as ''catfish`` in the U.S. markets is one of the most blatant acts of food trade misconduct since imported kangaroo meat was substituted for ground beef in some products in the early 1980's.''
Evidently Congress had to legislate the correct labeling of the basa> I looking forward to throwing it on the grill this evening.

To: null and void
Will you be able to stop me if you eat worms?
To: Prentice
I take no responsibility for the thread numbering. In fact, I take no responsibility whatsoever. I will take a doughnut if anyone has any. Or a pizza. Or a steak ...
To: lodwick
what is basa?
To: catpuppy
Phew...I thought certain you had been abducted by terrorist baggage handlers and sent to be tortured in Sudan.
so....happy to home in the warmth and sunshine of Georgia? sounded fun to be with a new rugrat. Was this a son or daughter's kid? BTW...how many do you have?

have always been afraid that they would go for the statue of liberty. We need to do whatever it takes to get rid of these monsters. Period Jessie saw these warnings on TV and then asked me if the bad people blew up the Statue of Liberty would that mean we lose our freedom ..
I said No .. it is just a statue .. a symbol of the freedom we have and that NO ONE can take our freedom away from us .. that the American People will never let that happen

Anybody know where Ratty got off to?I still think all the cat posts earlier shook him up.
To: Cuttnhorse
Actually, I'm looking forward to it. It will be a whole new learning experience for me, and even I'm not too old to learn...yet. Watch that drinking beer and practicing dressage at the same time. You could end up like Superman, with permanent wheels.

Remind her that the Democrats are close to wanting to take away our freedoms too.
Never hurts to start letting them know early.
Our sons will never vote for a Democrat as they (the Dems) now stand(the anti-american socialist party...AASP) . for that fact alone we are proud parents.

LOL! Words to the semi-wise. NO jumping! I'll excell at the fancy stuff, but nothing involving flying horses.
