Waking up to Matthews every morning .. I can see the suicide rate of TV's going up
CBS just doesn't get it .. and I doubt they ever will

consider the possibility that CBS is thinking about hiring motor-mouth Chris Matthews to replace Bryant Gumbel as cohost of the networks morning news programWon't watch Gumbel. Won't miss him. Won't watch Matthews. Won't miss him too.

hiya catpuppy. I haven't watched network TV in the morning for years. I would rather sleep. (But I watch Fox and Friends instead -- except this morning I watched a silly movie on AMC)

Good One!

Hi Valerie. I too watch Fox and Friends. They are to me the best thing that morning TV has ever offered--a good balance of news and humor, without too much of the feel good/feel bad stuff that passes for "vital information" elsewhere.

This is the guy that shot a woman for making fun of his turban... Even without a turban his shirt would have been worthy of comment! Next time he should wear a burka.
To: catpuppy
I may be taking a break from Fox News, too, though if the Chandra Levy coverage gets out of hand again.

Maybe the guy will let you have his shirt since he'll be wearing orange jumpsuits in jail.
To: ValerieUSA
Just as long as he doesn't give me the hair, beard, face, and empty skull, I'll be OK. I guess the turban was so awful, the police won't be seen in public with him wearing it.

Man! You MUST learn to use the BarfAlert before dropping that specimen on us. What a goof!
Do we know yet why geniusboy thought that a turban was the way to accesorize that lovely getup?

Do we know yet why geniusboy thought that a turban was the way to accesorize that lovely getup? Trying to use 'Møøse Limb' and 'think' in the same sentence again, are we?...
To: lodwick
Sorry! I withheld a barf alert because he was only shown from the waist up. I understand he was wearing shorts and sandles with black socks.
His lawyer described him as "eccentric"!?

Think of all the coffee it would save.

Too damned cheerful in the morning on Fox. I am not watching at all till some network realizes there is a substantial audience for some plain guy like Lou Dobbs just sitting at a desk and reading the news. period. No giggles, no funny weather men, no humerous animal stories. Lots of us are notappy campers in the morning and don't want to see anyone happy till after lunch if we can help it.
